American Foundation for Children with AIDS saves the lives of children suffering from the AIDS pandemic in East Africa. Funds are needed to provide anti-retroviral medication as well as the medicine necessary to cure children suffering from opportunistic infections such as tuberculosis, malaria and pneumonia. Funds are also needed to equip rural hospitals with such vital items as gurneys, needles, IV’s, splints, X-ray machines, examination tables, etc. Without funding innocent children will continue to die needlessly.
